Shadnagar is a Town and assembly constituency in the Ranga Reddy district in Telangana. As part of the District re-organisation of Telangana Government, Shad Nagar separated from Mahabubnagar district and merged into Ranga Reddy district as Shamshabad its Headquarters. Elikatta, Nagulapally, Kothur, Mekaguda, Keshampet, Solipur, Hajipalle, Kisannagar, and Kammadanam are its neighboring localities. It is barely 2-3 Km, from the railway station and the bus terminus. This locality has a huge land banks and has seen a lot of developments in the recent past. Surrounded by GMR, SEZs, NRSA, DLF City, Reliance Business Park and Shadnagar IT Park

Connectivity:

Even though Shadnagar is located at an approximate distance of 50 km from Hyderabad, it offers connectivity to the city via the Outer Ring Road (ORR). Apart from the ORR, the locality also offers air as well as rail connectivity.

The location has Shadnagar, HBL Nagar, Kottur and timmapur railway station to its nearby. However, the Shadnagar railway station is the nearest railway station located at a distance of 1.8 km via Station Road.

While the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport located at a distance of 34.5 km is directly approachable through the Bangalore-Hyderabad Highway or NH44.

Factor for future growth:-

Proximity to industrial hubs such as Balanagar, Kothur and Kondurg renders Shadnagar a potential residential destination of the future. This has led to an increased in demand of residential property and its rate in the locality.

The Government has decided recently that the areas in and around Shadnagar will be developed as satellite towns in the future. So this will bring up the value of the locality by a lot. This is mainly because of the developments around the area Shadnagar by the GMR, SEZs, NRSA, DLF City, the Reliance Business Park and the Shadnagar IT Park.

The proposed and approved Regional Ring Road (RRR) with arterial roads connected on all sides to the locality. And this led to an increased demand in the locality which in turn led to rise in property values.

Hyderabad Pharma City project being developed by the TS Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, will cover 19331.2 acres in Kandukur, Yacharam and Kadthal mandals of Ranga Reddy district. A major portion of land will be used for manufacturing while the rest will be used for setting up a pharma university, research and development and ancillary hub, and a township.

Proposed Amusement & Zoo park.

Shadnagar is going to open V Adept Energy, a non-profit scientific research and development organisation. This industry will cover 8 acres of land for developing a research laboratory that will be open for students, researchers and innovators to work on their research pursuits.

To decongest core areas of the city and ensure planned growth, Telangana Developers Association (TDA) suggested Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) develop satellite townships and regional townships around the Hyderabad metropolitan region. This will provide employment opportunity and rental demand in the locality.

TMR Infra has also announced the launch of TMR Terrain, a satellite township project near Shadnagar in Ranga Reddy district on the city outskirts.

BT road works in Shadnagar Assembly constituency have got the finance ministry approval and work is going to start from next month.

The 186-km southern corridor would extend from Choutuppal to Sangareddy covering Ibrahimpatnam, Kadthal, Shadnagar, Chevella, and Kandi.
