Sanpada is a residential node of Navi Mumbai which has been developed by CIDCO and has rapidly expanded in the recent years. The Sanpada railway station is located on the harbour line of the Mumbai suburban railway system from where one can get seamless connectivity to places like Mumbai CST, Thane and Panvel throughout the day. AC and Non-AC Bus services operated by NMMT and BEST connect Sanpada to other suburbs of Mumbai like Chembur, Sion, Dadar, Bandra, Ghatkopar, Thane, Kalyan, Dombivli and Badlapur etc. The Sion-Panvel highway also passes through Sanpada.
