Overview:-
Noida extension is a part of Greater Noida, located in the northern parts of city. It is a part of Greater Noida and consists of 16 villages: Khairpur Gurjar, Shahberi, Devla, Patwari, Ghanghola, Bisrakh, Roza-Yakubpur, Haibatpur, Itaida, Patwari, Aminabad, Asadallapur, Maincha and Chipyana Buzurg. All sectors under Noida Extension (Sector 1 to 4) are a part of the Greater NOIDA Authority. The sectors are named by letters of the Greek alphabet. All cabling and utilities have been built underground. Alpha, Beta, and Gamma are the oldest sectors. The other emerging sectors include Xu, Delta, Mu, Omicron and Tau. The present GNIDA office is in Gamma II sector just opposite the historical village Rampur Jagir.
The city's infrastructure is looked after by the Greater NOIDA Authority.
Noida Extension is located around 9.5 km from Sector 121, Noida. Spread over nearly 3635 hectare, Noida Extension is basically a name given to certain pockets of Greater Noida by the builders present here. This was done to differentiate the location from Noida and Greater Noida. It is well connected by metro, trains, buses and public transports. Transport facility is also good in this locality. School, bank, ATM and hospital are available nearby the locality.
Connectivity:-
It is located at a distance 2.5 km via Dadri Main Road. The area is surrounded by two major roads Hosiery Complex Road, Naya Gaon Road and Yakubpur Road which further connects it to the Dadri main Road.
It has excellent connectivity to the Indira Gandhi International Airport, which is located at a distance of 37 km via M G Road/Ring road, can be easily reached within 1h 30m.
Maripat, Chipyana Buzurg are the two nearby railway station to Noida Extension. However, the major railway station is the Ghaziabad Railway Station which is located at distance of 24.7 km, can be reached less than 50 min.
Keeping in mind the commuter convenience and to provide the last mile connectivity to commuters in Noida and Greater Noida, NMRC launched bus services in December 2016.
