Kopri, a primary residential locality, is situated on the eastern side of Thane. The locality comes under Thane Municipal Corporation. Other prominent localities located close to Kopri are Dharamveer Nagar, Mulund West, Naupada, Neelam Nagar, Thane East, Mulund East, Airoli, MIDC, Hari Om Nagar, Neelam Nagar, Tambe Nagar etc. Once, the locality was awarded as the cleanest locality of Thane City. Thane has a strong and large industrial base and is hub for all kind of industries. Chemical, textile and electrical etc. are the commercial industries hosted by Thane. Kopri, situated in the eastern parts of Thane has lots of land parcel available at cheap rates and is becoming a home for many business companies. Kopri in Thane east enjoys great connectivity and has close proximity to Eastern Express Highway and Thane East Railway Station.
Thane, Mulund, Airoli, Kalva, Nahur are its nearby railway stations. However, Thane Railway Station is the nearest and major railway station to Kopri, located at a distance of 700 mtr via Station Road.
It has close proximity to Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport which is located at a distance of 19 km via Jogeshwari - Vikhroli Link Road and Eastern Express Highway/Mumbai-Agra National Highway.
