Chinchwad is a suburb of the Pimpri-Chinchwad area of Pune, Maharashtra. The twin towns of Pimpri-Chinchwad are governed by a common body; Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). Chinchwad enjoys road connectivity with Pune through the four lane Old Mumbai-Pune Highway. The bus services operated by ST and PMPML and auto rickshaws are the primary means of transportation.
