C V Raman Nagar is a neighbourhood located in the eastern parts of the Bangalore City. The locality is named after C. V. Raman, a scientist who lived in Bangalore. This locality is located at a distance of 10 km from Bangalore City. There is a IT Park known as Bagmane Tech Park, located here. Pai Layout, Mahadevapura, Indira Nagar, Ulsoor, Domlur, LBS Nagar, Krishnarajapuram, Cox Town, Ramamurthy Nagar are its neighbouring localities. It is an affordable locality as compared to its developed neighbourhood of Indira Nagar, Ulsoor, Krishnarajapuram and Baiyappanahalli. This locality has seen a real estate boost due to well developed infrastructure combined with good connectivity within the city via MG Road and Old Airport Road.GM Palya Main Road and Dr. Ambedkar Road intersect this locality. This is a residential area which also holds a number of well-known IT and Corporates like Cognizant, Mphasis, Yahoo! India, and Dell India among the few. There is a landmark temple nearby called Veeranjaneya Swamy Temple.
