BTM Layout is a neighbourhood situated in south Bangalore. The locality got its abbreviated name as it is situated between Byrasandra, Tavarekere, and Madiwala. It is merely 8 km away from Bangalore City. The prominent localities located close to it are Outer Ring Road, Koramangala, J P Nagar, Jayanagar, HSR Layout, Bangalore, Bannerghatta Road, Bommanahalli makes it one of the most popular residential and commercial places in Bangalore. This locality is divided into 4 stages i.e 1st Stage, 2nd Stage, 3rd Stage, and 4th Stage. The 1st Stage of BTM Layout is separated from the 2nd Stage by the Outer Ring Road. It is considered as one of the wealthy neighbourhoods in terms of property prices. The wide roads and recently laid pavements are plus point for BTM Layout 1st and 2nd stages, even though traffic congestion remains an unresolved problem. The location of the micro market is ideal for home buyers as it is in close proximity to major IT Hubs such as Electronic City and ITPL. Nearby tourist attraction include Bannerghatta National Park and Madiwala Lake which is approximately 10 km and 2 km respectively.

The area enjoys good connectivity via BTM Layout including Bannerghatta Main Road, Tavarekere Main Road, Outer Ring Road, Hosur Road and Madiwala Road.
It has excellent connectivity to Kempegowda International Airport which is located at a distance of 43 km via Bellary Road.
Koramangala and HSR Layout are easily accessible, along with Jayanagar and JP Nagar.
Operational Phase 1 of Namma Metro’s Green Line will have stations at South End Circle, Jayanagar, Banashankari and Rashtriya Vidyalaya Road and these stations are within a distance of 5 km from BTM Layout.
Yeshwantpur (17.4 km), Bangalore City Junction (11.4 km) , and Bangalore Cantt. (10.5) are nearby railway station to BTM Layout. However, Bangalore Cantt railway station is the nearest railway station which is located at a distance of 10.5 km via Bannerghatta Main Road.
