Attibele, Bangalore

Overview

Attibele is a panchayat town in Anekal Taluk. Strategically located along the National Highway 7, it is about 32km from Bangalore and about 8km from Hosur. The Karnataka-Tamil Nadu border is also settled in this locality. The region is famous for many historic temples and shrines which celebrate some special festivals. Apart from temples, the region is also a popular hub for textile and manufacturing industries. The real estate market here has been growing slowly and steadily.

Connectivity

• Attibele is well-connected to Kempegowda Bus Station, KR Market and Banashankari by both BMTC and KSRTC buses.
• It also enjoy connectivity to Hoskote via Varthur, Whitefield and Kadugodi by BMTC buses
• Kempegowda International Airport is approximately 51km from here.
• Heelalige Railway Station, Hosur Railway Station, Hotar Railway Station, Anekal Road Railway Station and Carmelaram Railway Station are some of the nearest railway stations.

Factors of Growth

• Attibele was a small town and the transformation happened after the widening of NH-7 under Golden Quadrilateral.
• STRR Road, which is also called as Satellite Town Ring Road, unites almost nine satellite towns starting from Bannerghatta Road to KIAL, while the Intermediate Ring Road connects it to the State and National Highways.
• The second Indian Institute of Management (IIM) is proposed here for which the land has already been acquired. RJS Medical College is also planned.
• In addition to developing infrastructure, affordable property values have been a major growth factor for Attibele.
