Job Title: Store Incharge
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Store Incharge is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day store
operations.
This includes maintaining product availability, supervising store staff, coordinating
between the sales, cashier, and warehouse teams, and ensuring that all store activities
follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
The role requires proactive management of stock, quick problem-solving, and effective
communication to ensure customer satisfaction, operational accuracy, and timely
reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Stock & Product Availability
Check shelves daily to ensure all products are available and properly displayed.
Monitor and update the stock-out sheet regularly.
Coordinate with the warehouse to replenish missing items the same day.
Ensure no loose products or cartons are left on the store floor after 4:00 PM.
Maintain clean and organized product displays as per merchandising standards.
2. Team Coordination & Supervision
Supervise sales staff, cashiers, and store executives to ensure smooth
functioning.
Ensure all team members follow company SOPs in their respective roles.
Address team issues or queries promptly to avoid delays in customer service.
Train and motivate the store team for improved performance and discipline.
3. Handling Damaged Products
Verify all damaged or defective items reported by the team.
Prepare a daily damaged goods list and ensure items are sent to the warehouse
promptly.
Confirm correct placement of damaged products in warehouse racks
(returnable/non-returnable).
Maintain proper records for all returned items for audit and reporting purposes.
4. Discounts, Schemes & Product Information
Stay informed about all active discounts, promotional schemes, and product
aging.
Communicate all ongoing offers to the sales and cashier teams for accurate
customer communication.
Approve discounts, returns, and special billing cases as per company policy.
Ensure customers receive correct and updated product information.
5. Reporting & Compliance
Ensure all store operations adhere strictly to company SOPs and guidelines.
Report any stock shortages, delays, or policy violations to management
immediately.
Maintain clear communication between the store, warehouse, and purchase
departments to prevent errors.
Prepare daily operational summaries and submit relevant reports to
management.
DAILY FOCUS
Ensure shelves are always filled and the store remains clean and organized.
Supervise the team and resolve any work-related or customer service issues
promptly.
Confirm damaged products are returned to the warehouse every day.
Keep all staff informed about ongoing offers and promotions.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with management.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Graduate in Business Administration,
