Job Title: Resort Receptionist
Position Overview
A Resort Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for delivering a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth, enjoyable stay. This role manages check-ins, check-outs, guest inquiries, reservations, and coordinates with various departments to maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and manage check-in & check-out procedures.
Handle reservations, cancellations, and booking updates.
Answer calls, emails, and guest queries professionally and promptly.
Provide accurate information about resort amenities, activities, and local attractions.
Resolve guest concerns and coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.
Maintain accurate records of guest details, room availability, and payments in the PMS.
Handle billing, process payments, and manage cash/credit transactions securely.
Keep the reception area tidy, organized, and welcoming.
Follow resort standards in communication, behavior, and grooming.
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training preferred.
Previous front desk or customer service experience is an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good computer literacy; PMS knowledge is a plus.
Problem-solving mindset and guest-focused attitude.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
