Job descriptionOperate press brake and bending machines to bend sheet metal according to specifications and blueprints.
Interpret technical drawings, work orders, and production schedules.
Measure and inspect metal components to ensure quality and accuracy using calipers, gauges, and measuring tools.
Set up and adjust machine settings (e.g., angles, die clearance, back gauge position).
Maintain bending machines and report any malfunctions to the maintenance team.
Collaborate with welders, assemblers, and supervisors to ensure timely production flow.
Ensure safety practices are followed at all times in the fabrication area.
