Wadgaon Sheri is a residential locality situated in the north-eastern part of Pune city. It lies close to Kalyani Nagar which is a major IT hub of Pune, since it houses many IT companies. It is located off the Nagar Road. It is mostly a residential and commercial hub of Pune. It is one of the upmarket areas of Pune, with real estate prices being quite high. It comes under the jurisdiction of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and share its borders with Kalyani Nagar, Mula Mutha River, Viman Nagar, Chandanagar. The entire neighbourhood of Wadgaon Sheri lies along the Nagar Road. Ghorpuri, Hadapsar, Pune Junction, and Shivaji Nagar are its nearby railway stations. However, Pune Junction Railway Station is the major and nearby railway station to Wadgaon Sheri which is located at a distance of 7.8 km via Pune-Ahmedabad Highway.
