Thanisandra is a quiet locality in the northern part of Bangalore. This locality is famous for a lake that brings in tourists & many migratory birds too. It comes under the jurisdiction of Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagar Palike. It is located in the sweet spot that’s accessible from Bangalore international airport, major IT parks, railway stations & commercial hubs. Real estate is a booming business in Thanisandra as it is the happening area of Bangalore North. Nagawara Junction, Devanahalli, Yelahanka, Jakkur, HBR Layout, Hebbal, and Hennur are the prominent localities situated close to Thanisandra. Thanisandra Main Road has now been widened to 100 feet and converted into a commercial hub. There is also coming up a metro station that’s proposed in the vicinity. Additionally, the main road is being expanded to allow direct toll-free access to Bangalore international airport which would reduce commute distance & time. However, the area lacks infrastructure and it may take some time to come up as a desired real estate destination. No proper road on Rachenahalli Main Road and lot’s of potholes create a situation like traffic congestion during peak hours in the locality.
