Phursungi is a village town situated in the south-eastern parts of Pune. It comes under the jurisdiction of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). It is a gram panchayat of Phursungi village. It is located in Haveli Taluka of Pune district of Maharashtra. It belongs to western Maharashtra region. It is located 16 km towards east from district headquarters Pune and 13.7 km from Haveli.
