Overview

Madiwala is a suburb located in the south of Bangalore. It is the oldest locality in Bangalore. Situated at the center of the IT corridor it is well known across Bangalore. It is one of the city’s busiest business centers similar to Peenya  and DVG road at Basavanagudi. Prominent localities close to Madiwala are Koramangala, BTM Layout, Jayanagar, HSR Layout, Ejipura, JP Nagar, Bommanahalli, and Bannerghatta Road. The Bangalore City Railway Station at Majestic is 10.7 km away from Madiwala. Madiwala Lake which is situated in BTM Layout is considered as one of the biggest lakes in Bangalore. There are two major roads madiwala Road and Silk Board Flyover is passing through the locality and further link it with NH 44 via Hosur Road. The location of the micro market is ideal for the home buyers as it has close proximity to Koramangala, Jayanagar, JP Nagar and Outer Ring Road. Major IT hubs like Electronic City and ITPL are also located close to the locality.

Major roads which connect to or pass through Madiwala include, Bellary Road, Bannerghatta Main Road, Outer Ring Road, Hosur Road, Sarjapur Main Road and Madiwala Road.

Phase-1 of Namma Metro’s Green Line will have stations at South End Circle, Jayanagar, Banashankari and Rashtriya Vidyalaya Road and these stations are within a distance of 5 -10 km from Madiwala.

Kempegowda International Airport which is located at a distance of 42.3 km via Bellary Road.

Bangalore City Railway Station is the nearest railway station located close to Madiwala at a distance of 10.7 km from where one can get the trains for different or multiple route.

Proposed & Planned Infra

Proposed Phase-3 of Namma Metro with one of its route (Carmelaram - Yelahanka (32 km)) once completed will pass through the locality.

Under Phase 2 of Namma Metro’s East West New Line between RV Road to Bommasandra, the region will have a station.

Its proximity to Kempegowda International Airport along with major IT Parks of Electronic City has contributed to the growth of this residential society.
