Koregaon Park, Pune

Overview

Koregaon Park is one of the well developed area located south of the Mula-Mutha river in Pune. This area was primarily a residential area, but of late has been growing into a commercial marketplace. Property prices are here are the highest in Maharashtra after South Mumbai. It is one of the costliest localities in terms of real estate investment in Pune. Many residents of Mumbai have homes here. It is an upmarket area that offers the best high end luxurious multi-storey apartments and bungalows, and is particularly for the rich and affluent class. It is connected with Kalyani Nagar via the Aga Khan Bridge. This region is surrounded by Kalyani Nagar, Ghorpadi, Balaji Nagar, Sangamvadi, Magarpatta, Yerawada, Mangalwar Peth and Camp area. Many Europeans also reside here.

Connectivity

It enjoys excellent connectivity to Pune International Airport which is located at a driving distance of 11 kms via Pune Nagar Road/Samrat Ashok Road.

Ghorpadi, Pune Junction, Hadapsar, Khadki and Shivajinagar are the nearby railway station. However, Pune Junction is the nearest railway station to Koregaon Park which is situated at a distance of 3.6 kms.

Koregaon Park has two major roads: North Main Road that lies in the north of Koregaon Park which runs in parallel to South Main Road i.e. south of Koregaon Park. Link roads connect these two major roads.

Factors for future growth

The area has witnessed considerable development over a period of time. A number of high-rise apartments, residential complexes, commercial establishments and retail stores have developed in this area which has created demand for residential property over there.
