Kalamboli, NaviMumbai

Kalamboli is one of the several nodes of Navi Mumbai which has primarily been a transportation hub, but is now fast developing as a residential locality. Situated at the junction of the Sion-Panvel Highway, NH 4, Panvel By-Pass, NH 17 and Mumbai-Pune Expressway, Kalamboli has great road connectivity to various corners of the country. Auto rickshaws and bus services operated by the NMMT, BEST, MSRTC, KDMT and KMT are the primary modes of transportation available. Places like Vashi, Sion, Dadar, Ghatkopar, Uran, Thane, Ghansoli and Wadala etc. are well connected with Kalamboli through bus services. Located on the Vasai-Diva-Panvel route of Mumbai suburban railway system, Mansarovar, Khargar, Panvel and Khandeshwar are some of the nearest stations on the harbour line from where one can get local train connectivity to various corners of the city. Three metro stations under the Phase II of the Navi Mumbai Metro are also proposed for Kalamboli which will further improve the connectivity of Kalamboli.
A number of reputed educational institutions like Carmel Convent High School, St. Joseph's High School and Jr. College, and MGM Medical College and College of Engineering And Technology are located in the vicinity. Restaurants like Hotel Malvan Tadka, Hotel Silver Spoon and Domino's Pizza are present in Kalamboli, where one can get delicious food items. A number of other banks, ATM’s, hospitals, supermarkets like D-Mart are also available in the vicinity which makes Kalamboli a self-sustained locality.
