Overview :
At a distance of 48 kms from Pune Junction, Jejuri is a town and municipality located to the southeast of the Pune. The town of Jejuri is well known for its one of the most famous and holy temple Khandoba Temple. It comes under the jurisdiction of Jejuri Municipal Council. It has become one of the popular tourist places in Pune. It is situated on Pune-Satara-Pandharpur Road. It can be reached by road or rail from Pune. Jejuri Railway Station is a railway station that can be reached from Pune Railway Station by Express Trains. Belsar, Sakurde, Pingori, Kolvihire, Pingori are its neighboring localities. The Jejuri MIDC is home to companies like Berger Paints, Bharat Forge, Indiana Gratings Private Limited, Champion Dai-Chi technologies and WMI cranes. State Highway 61 is passing through the centre of the locality. It is 49.3 km from Pune city while Mumbai is about 199 km via Bangalore-Mumbai Highway. Nira Road and Jejuri-Morgaon-Baramati Road are the two internal roads which further has its access with SH 61. Prominent localities situated close to Jejuri are Hadapsar, Uruli Kanchan, Yavat, Saswad, Shirwal, Bhor etc. Some of the key residential projects in Jejuri are Pravin Om Park, Brahmand Mayurangan, Spark Natraj Art Village, Sairung Yash Vishwa, Gulmohar Grande, Ovaks Infra Malhar Angan among others.

This locality is surrounded by Dawnemala Road, Jejuri-Morgaon-Baramati Road Nira Road and Kolvihire-Jogwadi-Murti Road which further connect to Pune-Pandharpur Road.

Pune International Airport is located at a driving distance of 52 kms via Hadapsar-Saswad-Jejuri Road to Jejuri.

Jejuri Railway Station is the nearest railway station, located at a distance of 2.2 kms via Jejuri-Morgaon-Baramati Road. Other stations are Daundaj, Walha and Nira Railway Station which is nearby to Jejuri.

Buses from Pune heading towards Baramati, Saswad, Phaltan connects Jejuri. A 41 kms stretch of Pune-Pandharpur road between Hadapsar and Jejuri is proposed to be converted into a 4 lane setup which would make the place even more accessible.

Factors for past growth :
The Jejuri MIDC area houses leading companies and there is further demand. It has many engineering and paint companies which will create a huge employment opportunities in the future. A fair number of workforce work in nearby IT Hubs, wanted to have their residences close to their workplace. Major issues :
Maybe not a suitable option for making Jejuri as your place of residence as of now not because it is far away from Pune, airport and entertainment place is located at a distance of 45-50 kms but the place looks promising in the future due to its closeness to Pune.
