Overview

Jankipuram, situated in the northern parts of Lucknow is the fastest developing locality. Madiyaon, Aziz Nagar, Madiyanva, Preeti Nagar, Aliganj, Kalyanpur (W), Sanjay Vihar, Millat Nagar, Atrauli, Guramba, Indira Nagar, Mahanagar, Mohibullapur, Hazratganj are its neighbouring localities. Kanpur is situated in the south-western parts of Kanpur. Kanpur is located at a distance of 114 km via Kanpur Road. NH230 and NH30 has close proximity to Jankipuram. The social infrastructure of Jankipuram is well-developed. This locality is surrounded by major roads on the either side such as NH30 and Kursi Road. It has close proximity to NH27. This is the shortest route which leads to Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport. The locality has one of the largest & newly constructed campus of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) earlier known as the Uttar Pradesh Technical University lying in the vicinity.

Connectivity

It has excellent connectivity to Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport which is located at a distance of 34.5 km via NH 27.

Daliganj Junction, Badshahnagar, Lucknow City, Gomti Nagar, Aishbagh are its nearby Railway Station. However, Badshahnagar and Lucknow City Junction are the major and nearest railway station to Jankipuram from where one will get the trains for all the Tier-1 & 2 cities.

Transport facilities are also good via roadways as NH 30 is passing through the localities and connect to the other parts of the city.

Lucknow Metro is a rapid transit system serving the city of Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. Operational Phase 1A of North-South Corridor (Red Line) is passing through the locality of Jankipuram. Durgapuri and Charbagh metro stations are the nearby metro stations to Jankipuram.

Proposed 15-km-long Sitapur-Kursi Road stretch is under construction.

Planned Phase 1B of North-South Corridor (Blue Line) consists nine metro stations (all elevated) to be constructed on North-South corridor.
