Jayprakash Narayan Nagar, commonly known as J.P. Nagar is located in the southern part of Bangalore. It is located in proximity to prime residential areas such as BTM Layout, Jayanagar, Bhanashankari and Bannergatta. J P Nagar was created when Ramakrishna Hegde was the chief minister of Karnataka.
