Overview
Indira Nagar is a residential as well as commercial hubs, located in the east of Bangalore. It is the best and top most region to reside. The areas such as New Thippasandra, Jeevan Bhima Nagar, Murugeshpalya, Domlur, Ulsoor, Defence Colony fall under this region. It is a posh locality where new commercial areas where Domlur, 100 Ft Road, CMH Road are booming up. It is just 4.4 km away from the city’s hotspot, MG Road. It is surrounded by the Ulsoor to the west, Domlur to the south, Byappanahalli to the north, and Vimanapura to the East. Now, this locality has turned into the most expensive localities in Bangalore. Earlier, Indiranagar was a suburb, occupied by large bungalows and independent houses, mostly owned by defense personnel and public sector employees. It is well connected to the major areas in Bangalore such as Brigade Road, Koramangala, HAL Layout, Cambridge Layout, MG Road, Kodihalli, Domlur, Murugeshpalya, and Ulsoor. The major arterial roads 100 Ft Road, Swami Vivekanand Road, Indiranagar Double Road, and Sir CV Raman Road which further links it with NH44 via Swami Vivekanand Road.

Connectivity
The Namma Metro Purple Line runs through Indiranagar and has two stations within the neighborhood - Indiranagar and Swami Vivekananda Road. Indiranagar Metro Station is the nearest metro station, located at a distance of 900 m via 100 Ft Road.

It is well connected to most areas of Bengaluru with the buses of the BMTC, which also maintains a bus depot in the area known as Indiranagar Bus Depot.

It has excellent connectivity to Kempegowda International Airport which is located at a distance of 42.7 km via NH 44, can be assessed within an hour.

Banaswadi, Bangalore East, and Bangalore Cantt. Are its nearby railway station. However, Bangalore Cantt. Railway Station is the major and the nearest railway station to Indiranagar located at a distance of 7.6 km via Promenade Road.

It is conveniently located and well connected to the rest of the Bangalore by Airport Road, Swami Vivekanand Road & Old Madras Road along with the major IT Hubs such as EGL, Manyata Embassy Business Park, Rajajinagar IT Park, and International Tech Park Bangalore have been a plus point for Indiranagar driving rental demand in the locality.

Operational Purple Line of Namma Metro is passing through the locality, was the only reason of residential demand & development in the locality. And its smooth connectivity to Bangalore East Railway Station and Kempegowda International Airport had fueled the growth of the locality.
