Hennur-Bellary Road Layout, popularly known as HBR Layout, is a residential locality situated in the north-east Bangalore and spread on both sides of the Outer Ring Road (ORR). The area comes under Sarvagnanagar constituency. HBR Layout is formed by BDA which is spread across 5 blocks. Other neighbouring areas are HRBR Layout, Hennur, Nagawara, Lingarajpuram, Kamanahalli and Banaswadi.

Connectivity

HBR Layout is well-connected to other parts of Bangalore by buses and public transport.

• Hennur bus depot is located outside the layout.
• Hebbal, a major transport hub, is located at a distance of just 4km.
• Hebbal Railway Station is about 7km.
• Kempegowda International Airport is about 30km from HBR Layout, which can be easily reached in less than an hour via NH 44.

Factors for Growth

Due to its strategic location and easy accessibility to the IT Parks, the area is growing at a rapid pace. Further, both residential and commercial real estate is expected to see an upward trend once Phase 3 of Namma Metro (from Nagavara to Airport and Silk Board-KR Puram- Hebbal) is operational.

Major Challenges

The major challenge faced by the residents of HBR Layout is potholed roads. And to add to the misery, there have been repeated complaints of dumping construction debris on roads. All this adds up to slow-moving traffic during peak hours.
