Overview

Gosaiganj, is a town located in the north-east part of Lucknow. It is a Nagar Panchayat in Lucknow district. It is located at a driving distance of 19.9 km from Lucknow City via Lucknow-Varanasi Road/Sultanpur-Lucknow Road and about 22 km from Lucknow Charbagh Railway Station. Chand Saray, Koriyani, Saraykarora, Kazi Khera, Sekhanapur, Sadarpur Karora, Baliakheri, Maghua, Jamalpur, Kasimpur Biruha, Semanapur, Malauli etc are its neighbouring localities. NH230 and NH731 are the two major highways which intersect each other in Gosaiganj. It is well connected with the city through city bus, auto rickshaw, Tempo etc. It is a well planned and developed locality of Lucknow developed by Lucknow Development Authority (LDA).
 

Connectivity

The main Bus Stop from where connectivity to different parts of State is available is Alambagh Bus Stop and kaiserbagh bus stand situated in Lucknow.

Other transport facilities here to reach Lucknow city is private vehicles like Tempo, Upnagriya City Buses which cover Lucknow-Gosaiganj-Haidergarh.

Anupganj is the nearest railway station to Gosaiganj located at a distance of 2.2 km via NH230. The main railway station which connect Gosaiganj to other parts of the city as well as Tier 1 and 2 cities is Lucknow Charbagh railway station. Other nearby railway stations are Bakas, Rahmatnagar, Mohanlalganj, and Utraitia Junction.

It has excellent connectivity to Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport which is located at a distance of 27 km via NH 27 and NH731.
