Overview
Dwarka Expressway also known as Northern Peripheral Road, situated in the western parts of Gurgaon. Of the 29 km stretch, nearly 23 km would be elevated including two railway over bridges, one of which has been constructed in Basai. It has close proximity to operational Delhi Metro Rail Phase-1 and 2. Garoli Khurd, Dhankot, Gurugram, Manesar, Behrampur, Hasanpur, Narsinghpur, and Sector-36B, Sector-37B and D, Sector-88B are its neighboring localities. The main reason behind the planned of Dwarka Expressway to decongest the existing Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway by providing a substitute link between Delhi-Gurgaon and Manesar. Commuters, traveling from Delhi to Gurgaon and Manesar, this 150 meters wide and 18 km long road will provide them a hassle-free journey. The infrastructural development in and around the area has played an important role in its growth.
Connectivity
This 150-meter wide road (Dwarka Expressway) is connecting the area with a metro corridor and is close to some SEZ’s which will reduce the time of travelers from West Delhi.
It has excellent connectivity to Indira Gandhi International Airport which is located at a distance of 29 km via NH48.
Bijwasan, Gurgaon, Basai Dhankot, and Garhi Harsaru Junctions are the nearby railway station to Dwarka Expressway. However, Gurgaon Railway Station is the nearest railway station to Dwarka Expressway which is located at a distance of 10 km via Dwarka Expressway.
Phase-1 & 2 alignments of Delhi Metro Rail with two of its route (Yellow and Green Line) passing through the locality. Yellow Line has its stations like Guru Dronacharya, Syska M.G. Road, IFFCO Chowk, and Shalimar Huda City Centre while Green Line has DLF Cyber City, Sikanderpur, Phase-1, Sector-42/43, Sector-53/54, Sector-54 Chowk, and Sector-55/56.
