Dronagiri, located at the southern parts of Navi Mumbai in Raigad district. This is only developed locality where one can buy a big house in size with a small budget. It is located 25.6 km from Vashi, 12.3 km from Uran, and 22 km from Navi Mumbai. Residential areas in this node are Belpada, Jasai, Chirle, Dhutum, Veshvi, Dighode, Borkhar, Koproli, Belpada etc. This zone is located to the east of Uran and is surrounded by creeks and Sea on 3 sides i.e. Panvel Creek on North, Arabian Sea on West & Karanja Creek on South. This is the only node connected by road, rail, sea, and air. Excellent planned & speedy execution of infrastructural works of roads, water lines, drainage system, etc underway by CIDCO. The locality comes under CIDCO (Planning & Development Authority) and is being developed by CIDCO. Vashi falls towards the north, Panvel towards east and Mumbai towards the west of Dronagiri. Jawaharlal Nehru Port area and township are located towards the north. Due to its proximity to the port, this zone is perfect for port-based industries.
Connectivity
The locality is easily accessible from the Mumbai-Thane side via Palm Beach Road, from Panvel side via Panvel-Uran JNPT Road. NMMT & TMT buses run at regular interval and share taxi also available.
Ferry Service is also available from Gateway of India to Uran.
One can reach in south Mumbai in only 30 mins by taking a regular speedboat from Mora Jetty.
It is only 10 km from proposed Navi Mumbai International Airport.
Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is located at a distance of 46 km via Bangalore-Mumbai Highway/Mumbai Highway.
Jite, Belapur CBD, Seawoods - Darave, Nerul, Panvel are its nearby railway stations. However, Panvel Junction is the nearest railway station to Dronagiri, located at a distance of 19.5 km via NH 348.
