Dommasandra is a rapidly developing locality in the Southern part of Bangalore, located in the Anekal Taluk of Bangalore Urban district in Karnataka. The locality is close to State Highway 35 and Sarjapur Main road. Some of the prominent locality located close to it are Sulikunte, Yamare Village, Kodathi, Chokkasandra, Kommasandra, Chikkadunnasandra, Ittangur, Sarjapur, Thippasandra, Carmelaram, Electronic City, Kada Agrahara etc. SH35 is passing through the localities. This locality is surrounded by Chandapura Dommasandra Road and Ambalipura-Sarjapur Road. Other arterial roads are Dommasandra Road and Vemana Road. This micro market connects Sarjapur With Madiwala. This locality is favourite among the working population due to its connectivity to the IT Hubs like Whitefield, Marathahalli, and Electronic City. This locality is well connected to the other parts of the city via railway and roadways.

Connectivity

It has excellent connectivity to other parts of the city via railway and roadways. BMTC and KSRTC buses ply through the locality in regular interval. Chandapura Dommasandra Road and Ambalipura-Sarjapur Road are the two major roads link Dommasandra to the other parts of the Bangalore City. Apart from that, cabs, auto-rickshaw, metro are also easily available from the locality.

Kempegowda International Airport is located at a distance of 49.5 km via SH35.

Carmelaram, Belandur Road, Heelalige, Whitefield are its nearby railway stations. However, Carmelaram is the nearest railway station to Dommasandra, located at a distance of 6 km via Ambalipura-Sarjapur Road.

Factor for growth

The proposed metro line from The Central Silk Board to Hebbal and the road widening of the Sarjapur Road (from ORR to Dommasandra). These will definitely impact the real estate market of Dommasandra.

No proper street lights, it is difficult for pedestrians to walk on that road at night.
