Borivali East Overview:-

Borivali, located in the north part of  Mumbai. This locality is known as the “Suburb of Garden” as there are many gardens present here. This region is divided into Borivali East and West by the railway line. Dahisar river is passing through the middle of the locality. NH 8 (National Highway 8) commonly known as the Western Expressway which connects Mumbai with Delhi passes through this locality. The locality is served by BEST buses, taxis and auto rickshaws. Borivali, Borivali West, Dahisar East and Kandivali West are its neighbouring localities. It is one of the major neighborhoods of Mumbai. Social amenities include hospitals, schools, colleges, cafes, restaurants, parks and shopping malls. Borivali is the only neighborhood in Mumbai which has a forest on the east (Sanjay Gandhi National Park) & mangrove forests in Gorai, in the west.
