Overview

Bavdhan is one of the fastest growing residential suburbs of Pune. It is located along the Mumbai-Bangalore Highway and is bordered by some of the well-developed suburbs of the city like Kothrud, Pashan, Baner, Shivane, Bhugaon, Bhusari Colony and Aundh. It is surrounded by Pashan in the north, Sus village in the west, NDA reserved forest area in south and Kothrud in east. Its proximity to the main city of Mumbai and Pune and to Hinjewadi IT Park has made it a popular attraction among homebuyers. Wider roads, cleaner surroundings and regular commuting facilities make it one of the better places to live in the suburbs of Pune. Pashan Lake is also close to Bavdhan which lies in its north. The locality comes under Pune Municipal Corporation limits. It is located very close to the industrial zone and the IT Hubs of Pune.

Shivajinagar Railway Station, Pune Junction Railway Station, Khadki Railway Station, Dapodi Railway Station and Ghorpadi Railway Station are its nearby railway station. However, Shivajinagar Railway Station is the nearest railway station to Bavdhan.

Two Major roads Pashan Road and Paud Road passing through the locality which further connects it to the Katraj-Dehu Road Bypass (AH47).

It is well connected through excellent roads, to the areas of Kothrud, Paud Road, Baner, Aundh, Pashan, University circle and Sus village.
