Overview

Located in the Southern part of Metropolitan Region (BMR), Anekal is one of the fastest growing suburban towns in the city. About 35km away from Central Bangalore, the area is close to Tamil Nadu border. It also adjoins Thally Road, which further connects it to the major commercial location of Hosur. 

The Anekal Taluk shares border with different Talukas - Tamil Nadu towards the East; Kanakapura towards the West; Bangalore South & East towards the North and Denkanikottai towards the South.
 

Connectivity

• Anekal enjoys hassle - free connectivity to the premium residential destinations of South Bangalore located along the Bannerghatta Main Road.
• The Anekal Road passes through the town joining Anekal-Hosur Road and Anekal-Thally Road further enhancing the connectivity of the town with Hosur and other smaller counterparts in the region.
• Anekal Railway Station is the proximal rail connectivity (at a distance of 2.9km). Kempegowda International Airport is about one and half hour drive via Bellary Road.
• Anekal also boasts of BMTC bus connectivity offering excellent service to reach different parts of Bangalore city. Byagadadenahalli, Kempa Vaderahalli and Avadadenahalli Bus Stops are some of the major bus depots in the vicinity.
