Andheri was once just a normal western suburb. But with time, the region is pushed to be one of the most sought-after western suburbs for rent and purchase in Mumbai. Connectivity:-
Western Express Highway (WEH) passes through it. The locality is also close to Sion-Panvel Expressway. Important roads such as JVLR, Sahar Elevated Road, and Airport Link Road pass through it.
Andheri East is close to the airport and has the Andheri suburban railway station.
Mumbai metro connecting Versova and Ghatkopar passes through the locality. Andheri (E) has two metro stations: WEH and Azad Nagar.
BMC is planning to construct a flyover between Telli Galli and NS Phadke Marg Junction in order to reduce congestion between WEH and Andheri East.

Mangala Hospital, Seven Hills Hospital, Phoenix Market City, Big Bazaar Express are the major landmarks of Andheri East.
Market Outlook:-
Andheri East fulfills more of the middle class and upper middle class compared to its western counterpart. This mainly attracts the population working in nearby commercial and business establishments.

Improving infrastructure has helped Andheri east, to transform from an industrial area to a sought-after residential destination in Mumbai, over the years. It is well-connected suburbs in MMR. It's proximity to the Eastern and Western Express Highway as well as the Mumbai International Airport which located at a distance of 5 km via service road. The metro line running between Ghatkopar and Versova further enhance the micro-market among the employed population.
Scope of Future Growth:-
This locality receives a healthy demand from those employed in the neighboring commercial and industrial hubs, which is expected to grow in the near future. The availability of affordable as well as mid-segment properties leads to the locality witnessing grip from the middle class as well as upper-middle-class buyers and tenants who are not able to afford properties in Andheri West.
