Overview

Amar Shaheed Path, situated in the southern parts of lucknow. Amar Shaheed Path is an elevated outer bypass road completed in 2012 to divert the traffic coming from Kanpur Road or Faizabad Road can go to their destination without entering the city of Lucknow. The total stretch of the flyover is 22.5 kilometres. Amar Shaheed Path is 23 km long and is a part of the east-west corridor. The flyover has service lanes and under passes at NH-56 and NH-24 that links it to Lucknow-Sultanpur and Lucknow-Raebareli national highways respectively. Besides this, the flyover has been connected to the various important localities like Gomtinagar and Gomti Nagar extension to allow residents to use the facility accordingly. Four national highways - Faizabad Road, Sultanpur Road, Raebareli Road and the Kanpur Road, connected by Shaheed Path.

Connectivity

It has excellent connectivity to Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport which is located at a distance of 8.9 km via NH 27.

The Shaheed Path will connect Lucknow-Kanpur Road (NH-25) with Lucknow-Faizabad (NH-28) via Lucknow-Sultanpur Road (NH-56) and Lucknow-Raebareli Road (NH30).

Utraitia Junction is the nearest and major railway station to Amar Shaheed Path which is located at a distance of 2.9 km via Utrahtia Railway Station Road and 3 km via NH 27/NH 30.

Factors for future growth

Proposed Red Line (Line-1) of the Lucknow Metro Rail is an under construction metro route. It consists of 22 metro stations from CCS International Airport to Munshi Pulia with a total distance of 25.15 km. Most of the line is elevated and once completed will serves as the junction station between the two lines running from Airport to Munshi Pulia (Red Line North-South) and the Blue (East-West) line, running from Charbagh Railway Station to Vasant Kunj.
