DDA Housing Scheme 2019: Delhi

The Delhi Development Authority’s new online scheme, which was launched in 24th March has decided to extend the closing date for registration under Housing Scheme 2019 by a month until June 10, 2019. The DDA Housing Scheme 2019 is for sale of almost 18,000 newly built DDA flats in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj and Narela residential areas.

Under the housing scheme, DDA has placed 17,922 flats on HIG, MIG, LIG and EWS flats on sale. Those who are interested can apply only through the online mode. The authority has published a complete set of instructions, a layout plan of flats and price list in its brochure available on the DDA website.

Launched Units:

As many as 17,922 DDA flats are on offer on 4-categories – HIG, MIG, LIG, and EWS. The flats available in 4-categories are – 488 (HIG), 1,555 (MIG), 8,383 (LIG) and 7,496 (EWS).

Application Fees:

For the economic weaker section (EWS) category, the application fee is Rs 25,000 and Rs 1 lakh for the LIG category and Rs 2 lakh for MIG and HIG flats.

Flat Cost:

The highest price, for a 3-BHK DDA flat in Vasant Kunj, goes up to Rs.1.7 crore while the lowest one, a 29.77 sq-mt EWS unit in Narela will cost you about Rs.10.4 lakh under DDA Housing Scheme 2019. The allotment of DDA flat will be done through an online lottery system after the end of the application deadline. Those whose applications were rejected will be refunded later on.

List of approved Banks:

Application forms can be obtained online on websites of 13 listed banks including the State Bank of India, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Yes Bank, IDBI Bank, etc.

Those who are applying will have to pay the application fee online and upload one’s latest photograph and scanned signature. DDA will forward necessary information and messages such as demand-cum-allotment letter, conveyance deed, etc to the registered email id and mobile number.

PMAY benefit for first-time homebuyers:

As per DDA official, for first-time homebuyers, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) benefit may also be available. One has to click on the box mentioned as “Apply under PMAY”.

Applicants will not be required to submit any document at the time of submission of application. Only successful applicants will be asked to submit the prescribed supporting documents after the draw.
